Nobody looks for or wants to be a target of the terror panic attack and anxiety disorder bring into his or her life.  Without a doubt, these conditions have the ability to destroy anybody’s life.  In short, panic attack has no upside.

Still, if you are a victim of frequent panic attacks, you have already found out about this and certainly don’t need to go over this feature of the illness any more.  You’re more intent upon finding the way out of this maze of confusion by learning how to stop anxiety altogether.

So, now, let’s talk about what we know about finding relief from anxiety and panic. In order to become free of panic it is helpful to to have knowledge of how it starts up in the beginning.  Step one in the development of nervous illness is the onset of an unusual amount of nervousness.  This onset of nerves can stem from any of several causes.  It could be a lover’s breakup, an illness or another kind of burden.

This initial onset of nervousness makes adrenaline pump through the veins.  After this adrenaline release becomes constant, it can bring unfamiliar and disconcerting sensations. Such sensations can sometimes bring on a larger amount of fear into the realm of an already frightened person and when this person instinctively turns around and tries to to fight this fear or run away from it, even more adrenaline will start pumping and the sensations will become still more frightening.

This is known as the cycle of fear.  It make nervousness compound in a short time.  Each shot of adrenaline brings even more adrenaline into the mix. This adrenaline eventually brings the anxiety sufferer more fearful feelings and more of these feelings brings on even more adrenaline.

We need to reverse the cycle of fear.  This can be accomplished by understanding it is adrenaline causing the strange and fearful sensations.  Then, realize fighting these feelings or running away from fear will make matters  much worse.  This knowledge alone can stop ordinary nervousness from becoming a full-blown anxiety disorder.

So,allow the scary feelings to run rampant and defy them to do whatever they can do to you without running from them or fighting them. This is the only way to stop them.  In fact, if you would no longer give any respect to adrenaline’s deception, anxiety will no longer have anything to feed on and in short order it will go away just as mysteriously as it came on.
